My "Wind Up" Day at CPRL this Halloween

Hello this Halloween evening. I wanted to take the time to share a few pictures with you from today. This was my final day as Regional Library Director as I am retiring. It also happened to be Halloween. At CPRL, some of us would dress up on Halloween, some not. For my costume, I thought it might be appropriate "to graduate from CPRL" today. So, I used my academic robe, Master's hood, and cap (used during my tenure at Huntington College as a faculty member).

Sharon King became a Chic-Fill-A cow today-- complete with udder and sign board.

We had a good day, enjoying each other's company at coffee break and other times during the day, while still getting work done. I just finished up a few odds and ends of things, wrote some emails of explanation, and backed up the "my documents" of the desktop computer. We had a former staff member, Ruth Rapier, drop by. And, I had some very nice phone calls from folks. The flowers are from Sharon Shotwell, who is our vendor representative for the McNaughton Book Leasing System.
I am going to give you a link to the flickr file here. It makes it easier to load and share pictures. They will be in a set of "Halloween and J.G. retirement day." I hope you enjoy seeing them. Just go to the link below and double click on the thumbnail of the flowers that says Halloween and J.G. retirement day
